Well done to Peter. I'm very pleased with this choice and its great to have an older actor in the role again.

This casting decision could finally turn this show around. For a start the Doctor should always be older than his core fanbase and now he is. Secondly Peter Capaldi should play it like Jon Pertwee and ditch the silliness.
