Two of my cats like to sleep regularly on the bed and one has a habit of sleeping on the pillows. I'm told that this is dodgy as they spead diseases/germs etc.Does anyone else let their cat/dog sleep on the bed?

Yep. In the recent prolonged winter, I've had four cats and a dog on the bed. Mind you, I know they're healthy rather than random, diseased ridden-mongrels so the advice isn't intrinsically bad.

My two cats can sleep wherever they want. One usually sleeps by my feet and the other on my chest. The one on my chest usually head-butts me in the morning to wake me up. Better than an alarm clock.

Too true. One used to carve her initials into my eyelid to get me awake.
If you see me with a bandaged eye, I slept in.

My cat gnaws on my skull until I wake up. She's gotten really good at evading my counterattack.
Apparently there's some sort of brain parasite you can catch from cats. Makes you a little neurotic.
