The BBC has finally given in to fan pressure and scrapped the ghastly Moffat era TARDIS interior. A new, more traditional, design will be revealed in 'The Snowmen'. Its nice to be listened to at last.

Its nice to be listened to at last. What utter rubbish! They moved studio, and rather than spend money on moving the set (like the move from Q2 to Upper Boat), it was decided to build a new set, which would give Michael Pickwoad the chance to design the interior. Anyway, a photo is up on the BBC website. Cameron

They have given in to pressure from myself and many other fans.

What proof do you have of your claim? None. Cameron There is overwhelming circumstantial evidence. Myself and many other angry fans bombarded the forums with negative feedback on the awful 2010 TARDIS interior redesign. They have responded to this by making the new design much more traditional. This is a positive sign. Hopefully they will now listen to fan opinions on thew plots.

Unsubstantiated assertion.

Steven Moffat explains why he redesigned the console room.
'It was mainly saying to Michael Pickwoad (production designer), "What would you do with the TARDIS?" But we had a notion because I thought we'd been getting progressively whimsical with the interior of the TARDIS. And I started to think, "Well, why is that? It's not a magical place, it's actually a machine." So we did say 'machine' and actually, potentially, as you'll see more spectacularly later, quite a scary place sometimes. We make a lot of use of that. And it's also a lot easier to shoot, I have to say.'
Odd how "fan pressure" isn't mentioned. And strangely they give in after four years at the exact moment they needed to redesign the set anyway.
Oh, what powers the negative spammer posters must have. You should forget Doctor Who and start posting about world peace. I'm sure we'll be living in a utopia any day if you put your mind to it.
